If we aren't Open about our positions, beliefs, feelings, how will we ever understand each other. We don't always have to agree. When we do agree, it gives us a common bond. When we disagree, it gives each of us the opportunity to learn from the other.Honesty is the best foundation you can provide for any type of relationship. Built on honesty, it will stand forever; On anything less, it will surely crumble and fall.Without Sincerity, how will we ever be truly understood. Use the brain first, then the mouth. Say what you mean and mean exactly what you say. Don't make others guess what you "really" mean.Be a Loyal friend or lover. If you care about another, recognize that he isn't always right and sometimes makes mistakes. But, let him know that you still care, you'll still stand by his side when he needs you there. Don't step aside or walk away over the little differences of opinion or misunderstandings.Now, if you have all that down pat, you're ready to build some Trust. In fact, if you have all of the above, you pretty much have Trust already. But, let him know that you trust him; He just might justify that trust. Then, to hold it all together, throw on a good layer of love. Don't be stingy with it; It doesn't cost anything, so it won't break your budget. Whether it's a friend or a lover, give him all you got. Seems like no matter how much you give away, there's always some left.
